Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I have an old MAC computer. Will I be able to download PDFs from your site if I subscribe to one of your cyclepedia.com manuals?
A. Cyclepedia.com manuals are NOT in PDF form. Instead we've created an environment that uses simple HTML. The benefits are that you can read our manuals using most web browsers, and ease-of-use and speed are greatly enhanced. If you have trouble viewing any of our manuals we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Q. How can I be sure that one of your manuals will cover the procedures I need to perform?
A. Please read the product description of the particular manual you are interested in. For example, if you have a Honda XR650L just visit: http://www.cyclepedia.com/CPP-105.html. There should be a table of contents that clearly shows which topics are covered. If you needed to adjust your Honda XR650L valves, you would scroll down to the Periodic Maintenance section where you would find the Valve Adjustment topic. In many cases if a topic is not included you can request that we add it to the manual - all of our manuals are living breathing documents and we welcome suggestions on how to improve them. If you have additional concerns whether a topic is covered please contact us at: http://www.cyclepedia.com/contact.html
Q. I want to see a sample of what one of your manuals looks like before I subscribe?
A. Sure. The best way to do this is to subscribe to our FREE motorcycle and atv common service manual at: http://www.cyclepedia.com/amember/signup.php?price_group=CPP-CSM. This manual looks and feels like all of our other manuals except that it is not specific to any particular vehicle. You'll see how the navigation functions work, how content is layed out and how quick and easy it is to use.
