Rear Brake Master Cylinder

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

NOTE: Brake fluid is a corrosive chemical and can damage paints and some plastics. Avoid contact with skin.

Removal

Remove the rear brake pedal. See the Rear Brake Pedal topic for more information.

Remove the banjo bolt and sealing washers from the rear brake master

cylinder. Place the end of the hose in a suitable container to drain the brake fluid.
