Oxygenated Gasoline

Reformulated gasoline that is sold in some parts of the world where ozone levels are excessively high. Contains one of four oxygenates, methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), or ethanol. Oxygenated gasoline is blamed for a lot of problems related to jetting, deterioration of fuel system components and engine damage.
