SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Remove the balancer chain adjuster cap from the bottom of the left crankcase cover.
Loosen the balancer chain adjuster bolt with an 8 mm socket. This will allow the internal spring to automatically set the chain tension tighten the bolt securely.
Install the balancer chain adjuster cap.
