SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Install the rear wheel in the reverse order of disassembly.
Grease the rear axle before installing it.

Check proper chain adjustment before operating the vehicle. See the Chain Adjustment topic for more information.
Tighten the rear axle nut to its proper torque specification.
rear axle nut torque: 98 N-m or 72 ft-lb
Replace the cotter pin with a new one.
