Coolant Reserve Tank
SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
SAFETY FIRST: Antifreeze is highly toxic and can kill pets and animals if drank. Do not leave coolant where animals (including children!) can get to it.
Remove the front fender. See the Front Fender [2] topic for more information.
Remove the two fender flap screws on the left side with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
Place a suitable container under the coolant reserve tank hose ends to catch the coolant. Remove the hoses from the reserve tank.
Remove the three reserve tank mounting screws with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the coolant reserve tank.
Install the coolant reserve tank
Install the three reserve tank mounting screws and tighten them securely with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
Connect the hoses onto the reserve tank.
Install the two fender flap screws and tighten them securely with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.
Install the front fender. See the Front Fender [2] topic for more information.
Fill the reserve tank to the “F” mark with coolant.
