Front Wheel Removal
Remove the adjuster from the lower end of the front brake cable.
Take out the bolt holding the brake panel to the lower fork leg.
Remove the axle nut and washer, and then pull the axle out, using a support under the engine to allow the front wheel to drop out. Two axle collars (spacers) will come out with the wheel.
Installation Notes:
Be sure to include the two axle collars Tighten the axle nut to 4.5 – 6.2 ka-m (32 5 -44.8 lb-ft) of torque.
Adjust the front brake.
Front Hub Disassembly
Pull the brake panel assembly out of the brake drum and then remove the four bolts with lockwashers that hold the drum to the hub.
