Remove the fuel tank.
Take the spark plug cap off the spark plug by giving it a twist and then pulling.
Unscrew the bolts with nuts and lockwashers holding the coil to the frame bracket.
Pull apart the connector located on the black wire which runs to the coil.
Installation Notes:
Be sure the coil is well grounded to the frame through its mounting bolts. There is no separate ground wire.
