Hose Inspection
SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Inspect the fuel hoses for damage and deterioration. Replace the hoses as needed. The fuel hoses should be secured with a clamp beyond the ridge on the connecting fitting. The hose end should protrude 1 – 2 mm (0.0039 – 0.0078 in) beyond the clamp.
Inspect the coolant hoses for damage and deterioration. Replace the hoses as needed.
